Training
If you are working full-time and cannot commit to studying full-time, then the ATPL theory distance learning is the best option for you. As a distance learning student you can start at any time as long as you hold an ICAO PPL. The ATPL course involve students completing theoretical knowledge training and examination across 14 subjects which are required for the issue of an ATPL. Students can elect to complete the training on a full-time or part-time (distance learning) basis. All course material is delivered digitally to students by iPad and students are supported through an online learning management system and, in class, by subject matter experts.

Instructors
ASG’s best asset is their passionate instructional team; each ATPL instructor is chosen for his or her subject matter expertise and practical industry experience, adding real value to students’ training experience by bringing the material to life. Each ASG ATPL instructor is selected for their practical industry experience and expertise in their theoretical domains. While many ATO’s use their day-to-day flight instructors for ATPL instruction, by using subject matter experts (directly from industry) they can focus on providing the highest quality of training. ASG hire directly from the aviation industry and their instructors include: current airline pilots, type rating instructors, aircraft and avionics technicians, human factors specialists, military pilot instructors, aeronautical engineers, and air traffic controllers.
Location
ASG is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) permitted to deliver Air Transport Pilot Licence theory training (ATPL theoretical training). Their facilities are in a unique aviation training environment ideal for an aspiring aviation student. With over 20,000 square feet available located next to Dublin Airport, the entire building has been designed from the ground up to provide a bespoke, convenient and a best-in-class learning environment for aviation professionals. ASG share the facility with a number of airlines and training organisations and it houses a fleet of full-motion and fixed-base Flight Simulation Devices, some of which their students get to sample on their breaks from classes.
